Renewed Hope Youth Development Center exists to make sure young Nigerians are the ones telling them - on their own terms, without a filter, and at scale.
Renewed Hope Youth Development Center is the media arm of the Renewed Hope Youth Corps - a growing movement of young Nigerians committed to telling authentic stories, driving real conversations, and building the Nigeria they want to live in.
We produce podcasts, talk shows, documentary content, and live events. No talking points. No outside agenda. Just the honest voices of people who have something real to say about the country they are inheriting.
We do not sanitise Nigeria's challenges. We talk about them plainly, with nuance and without the script. The truth - even when uncomfortable - is always our starting point.
Nigeria is not Lagos and Abuja. Every episode, every season, we intentionally include voices from all 36 states - because the country is as wide and varied as its 200 million people.
Our content is produced by young people, for young people. Corps members own the creative process - the editorial decisions, the guests, the angles. Adults guide; youth lead.
We do not just identify problems - we spotlight solutions, elevate changemakers, and create a media culture that motivates rather than paralyses.
Renewed Hope Youth Development Center sits within a broader national effort to engage and empower Nigerian youth through the Renewed Hope Agenda.
A group of young media professionals and youth advocates within the Renewed Hope Youth Corps identify the need for a youth-owned media platform.
The Pulse releases its first pilot episode with four corps members. The response from across Nigeria is immediate and overwhelming.
All four shows launch simultaneously. 200+ corps members recruited. Kitchen Table and Voices Uncut both chart in their first week.
Live recordings in Lagos, Abuja, and Kano draw thousands of attendees. The Youth Media Bootcamp trains 300 young Nigerians in a single weekend.
Applications open for Season 2. New shows in development. 50,000+ monthly listeners. The movement continues to grow.
Applications for Season 2 are open. No experience required - just passion and a story to tell.
